  1. I just had your Friday fish fry again and noticed the price was alot higher, Getting to rich for me at over $16.00 plus

    1. The last time I went to Cracker Barrel. What’s a lot of racist in the store? So that’s why I decided not to go back to work.

    2. The idiots reduced the portion sizes significantly and raised their prices on their fish fry. They used to serve large beautiful pieces of fried fish and then over night they served pieces about the size of prawns. Less fish, for more money–no thank you; we will not return. I even called CB’s corporate office about it; they played dumb. You chased a decades long customer away for good! #idiots

  2. Do you still offer that delicious pot roast with vegetables in the pretty blue cassoulet on Sundays?

    1. put back some of the delicious meals you took away. You are too high price and still can’t get the good stuff you took away. I will just eat someplace elseq

  3. You guys want to bring the customers back then you need to add the chicken liver and beef liver and onions back to your menu. You should have never removed those two menu items!

  4. breakfasts sure have gotten expensive. used to love bringing the family but no longer in the budget so dont agree with you thinking that the rise in prices is not a contributing factor

    1. Yes, it is unbelievable what they want to charge for breakfast. We used to go (occasionally), but now, it’s way out of our price range. Admist all the rising prices, Cracker Barrel is not the place that my money will go.

  5. I used to love eating at Cracker Barrel, but it’s just too expensive for a family. We are not gonna spend $80 bucks for breakfast. So, we are just watching Youtube and reading cookbooks to learn how to cook breakfast cheaper. Last time we came in, we couldn’t believe the prices. Who can spend $10 bucks for breakfast with just some two 25 cent eggs, 2 ten-cent biscuits, 2 35-cent sausages, etc. I broke down the prices, and it is ridiculous how much profit is there. It is costing 6 to 7 times what I can do it at home for. No way, anymore.

    1. I don’t understand why you can’t respect all other type of people. That includes Gay People too. This is the same way that they used to treat us Black People. But, now, we finally are starting to get treated better and are gaining some respect after Obama. But, you should be like Jesus and try to love people — no matter what is good or bad with them.

      1. Respecting all frenge elements of society is one thing but having that agenda forced down my throat makes me gag

  7. I was a Cracker Barrel regular.
I am boycotting CB because of you displaying rainbow rocking chairs and flags on the front porch. WOKE GO BROKE!

    1. Well people as above are always there to give a side order of hate. I know it’s because they are truly unhappy in their own lives, but why bother.

    2. Well, acting that way about all the Rainbow stuff, is really discriminating and racist. That’s not how us Americans should be. I’m a Black Person, and I don’t appreciate people saying bad things about Gay People. It’s just like how all of our Peoples were treated, before we got the right to vote and to marry whomever we wanted. You should show love, just like how the Crackers are doing at the Barrel.

    3. This is maybe the dumbest reason that I have read, to not go to an eatery. Sounds, like you may be a bit homophobic? What delicate and precious little sensibilities you possess–poor baby!

  8. Your efforts to increase customer traffic should turn to the basics. Good tasting food! My wife and I ate at the Cookeville location last evening, worst tasting food I’ve had at a restaurant. Scrambled Eggs were hard, biscuits were not done, gravy tasted like medicine.

Fix the food problem I’ll be back.

  9. It been two years since I ate at Cracker Barrel. The food was i good the fried chicken was dark and so greasy

  10. Cracker Barrel is also loosing the senior citizen folks because of the higher priced menu. Most of us just can’t afford to eat there anymore. We used to love eating there once a week at least & eat from the breakfast menu but now that you have changed the breakfast menu……remember we live in the South, Mt Airy, NC……
    where are the grits?…..
    why “thick” floppy.
    bacon?
    why “smoked” sausage
    (nobody in the south
    eats smoked sausage
    for breakfast & yours
    has a chemical taste
    too.)
    Where are the pecan
    pancakes ???
    Where are the “pinto
    beans & greens ???
Several favorites are missing from the menu.
Yes, Cracker Barrel is pricing themselves right out of business. We loved everything about Cracker Barrel the first years you were open & didn’t mind standing in line but now everything has changed.
Also, all the prices in the country store are too high for any of us to afford.
    From a former customer

  11. Impossible to get through to anyone in customer service about a problem with gift cards. I’ve been trying for over two weeks, two complaint tickets created, numerous phone calls that only get busy signals. Over $100 in unusable gift cards. No longer my favorite restaurant.

    1. There food is horrible lately othing is hot and it all taste the same there employees are not very nice either

  12. Just read an article about CB losing customers, declining sales ect.
I lived in Nashville TN in the 1970’s. I ate many times at the first CB at exit 109 I am now in OR, but return to TN at least yearly. I was very excited when the 3 stores opened near Portland. The quality of the food was never the same. Pancakes taste like they were cooked on the grill where other food was cooked, biscuits were hockey pucks at times, ect. I would always try to give the managers constructive criticism but after awhile I saved my eating back in TN. One time when the biscuits were unacceptable, I mentioned to the manager-he brought me same quality of biscuit – I could tell he just put them in the microwave. I know COVID hit everyone hard. Americans are so critical today. Quality of food is so important. Please keep your southern restaurant employees well trained with quality control! 😇

  13. They Don’t need to serve alcohol, it has always been a country family atmosphere and that takes away from that feeling!

  14. The last time we attempted to eat at Cracker Barrel we were seated quickly and then completely ignored. Two of us. No water, no I’ll be right with you, no nothing. We waited for maybe 15 minutes, then we left. I’ve been in restaurant service for decades, acknowledgment goes a long way. You’d do well to consider it.

  15. Tried CB last week with family, have been in the food and hospitality business for several years..was disappointed with menu changes., In my opinion CB needs to retrain and reevaluate upper management.find different ways to reduce costs without cheating customer value preseption. Reevaluate recipes ! Taste is everything. I am personally available. Regards. Dennis..

  16. I have always enjoyed the meals at CB. But there has been a notable difference in quality and quantity of the food – especially the sides. In fact, we ate there September 14, 2023 and my entre’ was exceptionally good, but the sides barely covered the bottom of the small bowls. My husband ordered the Southern Fried Chicken but he had to take his napkin to blot the excess grease before he could eat it. His sides were also skimpy. Just as a note, I did not see the meals below $12.00. Our meals were $12.99 at 2:00pm on a Thursday afternoon for a meat and 2 sides. I commented to our server that there were only two bites of one of my sides, and less than that in my other side. She promptly brought me additional servings of both sides. We will go back, but not as often as we have gone in the past. ALL restaurants have raised their prices to the point of more meals being eaten at home. Especially for those of us living on a fixed income.

  17. Personally, l LOVE Cracker Barrel
Unfortunately a lot of my friends and family don’t like you all because of the service yall give
There is a BIG problem with “Racial Prejudice “ going on in your establishments with your employees! This need to be checked
People of COLOR are still feeling a detachment when coming into your diners. They feel like they’re treated less than their WHITE and other customers
Just letting you know what’s being said about Cracker Barrel

  18. The quality of food has gone down. Several weeks ago we were at the CB in Fogelsville Our meal came out in just 5-8 minutes. We were shocked. Not enough time to make food. Barely enough time to warm up old food because that is what we got. I had the fried fish & the edges were turned up like it laid around & then just warmed up.
My husband had the meatloaf & it was burned. The manager did take the meatloaf off the bill. But in the mean time we didn’t have much to eat. We always loved Cracker Barrel but it will be a long time before we go back.
So count us as seniors that won’t go back. Not the prices or COVID but the quality of food.

  19. The reason why there’s a decline is not that we are cutting but it’s your quality of food. Go back to what made you the best family gathering . You are cutting back and we are cutting out.

  20. My wife and I went to a cracker barrel north of the city of saraland to eat dinner.the hostess seated us in a section where there were only 2 tables occupied. We sat at the table looking at the menu for about 15 to 20 minutes. No one came to the table to take our order for drinks. I got up went to the kitchen entrance and ask for the manager which a heavy set black woman answered that she was the manager. I informed her that we had been sitting awaiting a waitress to come to our table. She informed me that someone would be there. We waited another 7 minuyes before this young girl came to out table. We informed her of what we wanted to eat and drink. Anotjer 10 minutes went by before we got our drinks. When the food was brought out my wife ordered country fried steak. Her plate was hot but the food was cold along with the steak was hard. She had to get another waitress to get her a knife. I ordered meatloaf fried chicken and chicken and dumplins. The chucked was hard, the meatloaf looked like it had sat on the country for 2 days and the chicken and dumplins was cold. We got up to leave no one had checked on us or bring us a check. I dont know what is going on with the employees of cracker barrel but ill never go back to none of them to eat. It was a very, very bad experience.

  21. I have been a customer for more than 30 years. However we stopped going into CB as the lasts visits the service was terrible ! Food was just ok prices were up but so are most things.
Don’t think we will be back as we are senior citizens on a fixed budget

  22. Enjoy the grilled chicken salad, but for the price they are stingy with ingredients, does not look like the salad in your menu photo on line, more lettuce would suffice.
