About two hours south of Cracker Barrel’s home offices is the town of Pittsburg, TN where Joseph Lodge and his wife opened the first Lodge® foundry in 1896.
Joseph Lodge created a legacy of quality that has thrived through two World Wars and the Great Depression and is still carried on by his family today.
The company has thrived over the years and in 2002 they began producing pre-seasoned cookware, which was an industry first and now the standard. Since then, they have continued to increase capacity within the Pittsburg area as the demand for quality cast iron products continues to grow.
We are very excited to be able to grow to new heights with our feet still firmly planted at home.
